LibriVox is a largely volunteer effort to convert books in the public domain into audiobooks, with various readers recording the books that users can then download and listen to with the LibriVox app. The catalog of book is up to around 7,000 entries, and includes features like bookmarks to save important spots in a book's playback. LibriVox's new update adds a search function that helps you find similar works by the same or other authors, and a rating system that helps you find what you want to listen to next.

Despite there being similarities and differences, superior and inferior qualities on both sides of the smartphone divide, there are people who wish their iPhones were more like Android devices ? with their various freedoms of content control, for example ? and who wish their Android devices were more like iPhones. Control Center is an app that can help the second group of people, at least in terms of user interface and functionality controls. The app lets you make adjustments to the interface of your Android device to make it look more like an iPhone based on the iOS 7 operating system. You can tweak your home screen to look like Apple's app launcher, change the kind of notifications you receive to look more like Apple's and more.
Who?s it for? If you're an Android user but an Apple fan, Control Center gives you (some of) the best of both worlds.

Tetris update (Free)
What?s it about? Classic puzzler Tetris has been re-released to the Google Play Store, bringing new social features to the block-dropping title
What?s cool? If you've ever played a video game, whether on your phone or otherwise, you're probably aware of Tetris. The title is a classic puzzle game that's incredibly simple, and yet devilishly challenging. Your job: guide blocks of varying sizes and shapes and drop them on the screen to interlock them together. Complete a line of blocks from one side of the screen to the other to clear it; leave gaps and the blocks pile up. Too many and you lose. Tetris just got a new release to the Google Play Store, replacing the old version with something a little newer that adds social features, so you can challenge Facebook friends, and that has fresh graphics and music as well.
Who?s it for? Fans of puzzle games shouldn't miss out on this classic example of the genre, especially if you have Facebook friends whom you'd like to take to Tetrimino school.
