St. John's basketball coach Steve Lavin attended Friday night's Vaux boys' basketball playoff game to get a closer look at Rysheed Jordan according to The Inquirer's Rick O'Brien.
Jordan, a 6-foot-3 senior point guard, is the nation's top un-committed senior guard ?according to ESPN ?and is between UCLA, Temple and Lavin's Red Storm. He is expected to announce his decision after the PIAA playoffs. St. John's coaches have attended some of Jordan's other games this season.
Vaux plays Church Farm at 7:30 at La Salle High.
