Magazine?s annual 500|5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. SimpleSignal showed significant revenue growth in 2010 and 2011, making the company among the elite few to be named to the list for two consecutive years.
In 2009, Inc Magazine expanded its Inc. 500 list, first introduced in 1982, to include a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the American economy ? entrepreneurs. Methodology
The 2012 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2008 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2008. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent ? not subsidiaries or divisions of other? companies ? as of December 31, 2011. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2008 is $100,000; the minimum for 2011 is $2 million.
